You can activate the product 3 times, after that you'll need to call the phone number that appears on the activation screen.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My os win7 professional is asking for for activiation key. pls. help me. thanks!

Microsoft requires that their software be activated, usually within 30 days of being installed. If you have internet access, click on the activation and it will automatically activate. If not then you will receive a prompt giving you a phone number to call. Follow the instructions on the screen and you will be given an activation key that you must enter

My system is getting worst by attacking malware,spyware and any viruses,so i need to activate my win7 total security but i lost my activation key,can you help me produce an activation key for this?Thank...

I can't help you with activation key but I can give you a couple of things to try;
http://www.malwarebytes.org/
You can use the free version of Malwarebytes. Download and run the quick scan first and let it make necessary repairs, then allow a couple of hours and run full scan. you can also try this for antivirus;
http://www.avira.com/en/avira-free-antivirus
Again you can use free version. You should try this till you get your activation code.

DdI bought a pc without a hard drive.When i replaced the hard drive, the screen then told me i had to activate windows.Do i need to purchase software for that?

Maybe. This depends on Microsoft's view of your product key. First attempt to let Microsoft activate Windows over the network connection (if the computer is on a wide-area network). If it isn't able to activate, you should call Microsoft's activation: (888) 571-2048 . (A set of windows should come up to walk you through the activation over the phone.)

Activation checks if the same product key is being used by one (and only one) computer. It also notes if the computer has undergone major changes - and is a new computer by Microsoft's viewpoint. If you have a valid product key (not on any working computer) but have a new computer, you should be able to get it activated without paying for any new software. However, if Microsoft says you have an invalid license, you may have to buy a product key.

Please note: activation with Windows 7 can be a pain if a false "invalid or pirated software" conclusion is made by the Microsoft computer. The Microsoft staff can walk you through the fix - I found it online back when I was upgrading to Win7 but have lost the link. (WinXP -> Win7 at the time)

Activation is required to keep Windows working normally. Without that, Windows Updates will be unavailable and you will eventually get a weird background with regular "not a valid copy of Windows" messages.

I hope this helps.

Giving product key is considered to be illegal here . Any expert who gives product key is banned from service here . So i do not think any expert will give the product key.

I have a missing product key....and i cant even hack the system to remove the notice

This works for Win7 only:

(only if product key is found underneath the computer)

>>type slmgr.vbs -ipk on command prompt(Administrator)

>>reboot computer

>>as computer comes back up windows activation page comes up

>>activate by phone

>>dial the number

>>obtain new product key

>>as you log on to desktop

>>notification regarding Win7 OS Not Genuine is gone

>>windows is now activated

WinXP product key:

Instaling windows 7 in vaio laptop have vista orginal windows how solving the problem in instaling windows 7?

if your system came with vista originally the issue would be is you would need to know what version of vista you have on your system, the version makes the difference if you have vista home premium then your windows 7 should be a win7 Home premium as well, because if you are upgrading vista using your win7 disc and your windows version are different for example you have vista Home premium and your win7 is win7 ultimate and you do an upgrade the problem will be your product key,

but if you have a retail version of win7 and you are installing it on your laptop Vaio insert the disc in the DVD-drive win7 needs a DVD reader to be able to install win7 if you have a cd-rom it wont work, then turn the laptop off power it back up keep on tapping f12 it should bring you a boot menu, select ODD or which ever is your dvd drive then press enter then enter again if it says on the screen press any key to boot to CD, this should begin win7 installation on the screen saying windows is loading files the so on ans so fort ^_^ this will over write everything in vista but in win7 it will still create a windows.old folder from vista only from the my documents folder my picture and my music and my video and desktop Items but remember application icons will not work on win7 you may need to reinstall the program again for it to work on win7 and yeah make sure that you choose custom/advance in the selection screen do no select upgrade unless you vista and win7 are the same version eg. Vista Home premium / Win7 Home premium ^_^
