SOURCE: Need SPDIF pinouts identified.

When looking at the board, bottom towards you assuming that the 3 pins are parallel to the pci/e slots, the left pin should be the +5V vcc the middle pin is the spdif out and the right pin is the ground. Also the 3 pins are probably not exactly the same distance from each other (equally spaced) the 2 pins that are closest together are the spdif and the ground, spdif is always the middle pin. This info is based on 2 different asus motherboard install guides. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: usb connection wires from front panel to motherboard

The header plug is 9 pins, 5 on one side and 4 on other. Orient the header so that the missing pin is lower right and the connection left to right on top row and lower row are as follows. If you have a shield wire, do not connect this as it causes instability if the ninth pin is earthed. If you have no markings on the wires, you can test from the socket. Orient with the pins up looking from front socket and left to right is 1,2,3,4 same as header.

Pin Wire Color Function
1 Red V BUS (+5V)
2 White D-
3 Green D+
4 Black Ground

Some questions first: Is this the same board mentioned in your other post? If so how did you decide that you have a short on your motherboard?

SOURCE: asus k8v se data-2 data+2 ground and vcc wires

You can download the manual from this location http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock754/k8v_basic/e1529_k8v.pdf

Go to page 1-21 and see the extra USB connectors. If you are talking about your wires coming out from your case and used for a USB port like the one in the front, you should connect them to any of the 4 available USB channel following the polarity. For example connect your Vcc to USB+5V, groung to GND, data-2 to USB_P8- and data+2 to USB_P8+

I need help with connecting my case wires to the motherboard

those wires are for the USB not audio,the meaning of the
writing no the wires are:
vcc=5 volts, -D=data negative, +D= data positive,GND=ground.
look in the manual for usb connection, if the mainboard has the header connection for them connect the wires to it if not just leave them out, secure them out of the way.
