use ur driver cdand try to install sound driver.
if u dont have cd use this site
( for XP )

use the usb external driver connect cd room, and insert the disk progam of sound driver or contact email me at: muverta@yahoo.com

You can download the drivers from ASUS site. Select your model laptop, and make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system. Click on this link :-
