Convert from natural gas to propane on a hobart hgc501 convection oven

You should be able to purchase a conversion kit from Hobart Direct or a Hobart Agent. The conversion should be done by a Licensed Gas Fitter.

I need a wiring diagram for a220 v ,3-phase gas oven , Bakers Aid ,Maro 1-G ?

It can be very difficult to obtain wiring / circuit diagrams for old units. Provided no -one has "played" with the wiring and mixed them up, all I can suggest is if you are replacing the wiring, do it ONE at a time taking note of where the wire is connected and where it is going to.

What size circuit is used for a hobart flash bake oven

That information -should- be on the model label. It would be listed as MCA or Max circuit size. If it's listed as merely Amps, you need to add 20% to that amount to select the correct breaker size.

Hello Gelliott162,

Hello I understand that you have a question about a cord for your church's Hobart GF035A. This unit does not have a power cord it is self-powred unit. The theromocouple supplys all the power that is need for the Gas valve to operate. If the unit is not functioning properly you may need to replace the thermocouple on the unit.

The thermocouple is the cooper looking wire that sets next to the pilot light. The pilot flame engulfs the tip of the thermo-couple. The heat that is emited from the pilot on to the thermo-couple is changed in to power and controls the gas valve.

The capcity of the unit that you have is 35 pound of fat (shortening or oil). Make sure that the unit is full of fat before you try to fire the unit, as firing the unit without fat will cause the units vat to warp and can cause the unit to leak.

If you need directions on how to fire a the unit or light the pilot please post back to this thread and I will be happy to assist you with that.

Thank you for chossing

Faulty plate warmer on rangemaster 110 dual fuel

We have the same problem on a Rangemaster Toledo 110. It is not a fuse.
The 'Hot' light still comes on because that is a different (parallel) circuit.
Examination by a competent electrician has found that the soldering for the wires that power the warming metal strip under the glass is faulty. You will have to ask for a replacement part.
There may be a design flaw, so you might want to enquire about the professional all gas burner top and just use the griddle as a warming plate over the second wok burner.

Good luck.

Convert from natural gas to propane

Step 6:
To prepare the new unit for LP gas you need to adjust several items. First you will need to replace the range orifices or spuds. These are individually sized with marks and colors.
remove_spud-s.jpg Step 7:
Using a nut driver, loosen the old spud and replace with the new one.The trick to keeping from dropping the spud down inside the range is to use a small piece of aluminum foil between the driver and the spud. This should provide enough "grip".
If you do drop one down inside, you'll need torx wrenches to disassemble the burner units and get inside.
orafice_setting-s.jpg Step 8:
tighten_orifica_on_broiler-s.jpgThe oven orifices need to be adjusted. Using an open-end wrench, tighten down the brass fitting on the oven burner valve.
Step 9:
There may be two orifices, one for the broiler and one for the main oven burner.

reverse_for_lp.2.jpg Step 10:
You will need to reverse the plastic pin in the regulator underneath the range. Remove the hex nut and flip the plastic pin and reassemble the nut.
Do not over tighten!
The last step is to open the air shutters on each burner as per directions included with the range conversion kit.
