All my comments are regarding troubleshooting for the FAV6800AW or FAV9800AW is that your machine model type? Sorry to keep asking this questions but many folks post different machine types in the FAV6800AW forum. If your machine is not one of those model’s disregard my post. I'm and owner as you of the machine.

For the FAV6800AW the LL error code = Large Load detected. I feel you have increased rotational resistance (binding) in the system.

Can you lift he lid of the washer and rotate the wash basket in the Counter Clockwise direction. The Wash Basket should rotate with one finger with what I call the pinky finger test with very slight rotational resistance in the CCW direction. I’m trying to get a feel for drive system binding issue. The wash basket under normal conditions will not rotate in the CW direction. What are your results?

If you have a measure of Wash Basket CCW rotational resistance it could be caused by the One-Way roller clutch bearings, the Outer Tub Bearings, and the roller bearing located in the Spinner Assembly brought on by a slight leak with the Tub Seal.

Have you had and errors to the Console display of your machine such as dc or UC in spin cycle? These are unbalance errors detected by the Tub Displacement Sensor and signaled to the Control Board.

With the wash Tub banging around as you describe your machine should have shut down with signaling from the Tub Displacement Sensor to the Control Board with dc or UC errors. We should try a TDS check from the Service Manual Page 19. I have summarized the test below. Don’t take any DVM measurements I just want you to try this to verify proper TDS operation with this very basic test.

Tub Displacement Sensor Diagnostics check.
It is possible the Tub Displacement Sensor may have failed try this check which is in the Troubleshooting guide stored in your washer console or refer to the Service Manual.

Enter the Service Mode by pressing and holding the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or the display reads “00”
Press the Super Wash key display reads “in”…something like that.

Press Delicates the Display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

Push tub down and to the back right corner of the machine the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open).

Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

Press Hand Wash.

Pull tub to the front left corner while pushing the tub down the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open).

Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

If you get these results your Tub Displacement sensor should be OK.

Post back with your results and we will go from there. If you don’t want to get involved in a DIY fix and you opt for a repair call we can give a bit more info to the repair company and maybe control cost and time to repair.

Run the machine through the cycles without anything in it. If it still does it, lift the top and look down between the basket and the tub for any objects that might have jumped out of the basket and into the space. Fish out anything that's in there. If there is nothing in that space, you need to either tighten or replace the snubber. It's a piece of rubber, held against the tub by a piece of metal. It keeps the tub from bouncing around.

I have a Samsung top loader and even after leveling correctly as the spin cycle begins to spin faster, after the speed number nine the drum begins to bang all over the place then stop spinning. What c

You have an unbalanced load. This can be due to the amount of items in the drum or the type of items in the drum. Redistribute the items in the drum and restart. If this happens continually, you may have a problem with the drum dampening mechanism.

Alarm which we do not have before. normal cycle. also on a rinse cycle. ocasionally loud banging noise.

You didn't mention if the machine was giving any error codes. Do the following steps to get any stored error codes and post them back to me.
Select the following on the operator console - DRAIN SPIN, NO SPIN, and then press any button under OPTIONS 4 times (it must be the same button). "C00" will show on the console display as the washer begins diagnostics mode.

Washer does not finish stops at spin and it displays a 'dc' code...what is this

The Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for reference.
dC code from the Service Manual = Distribute Clothes: The load is unbalanced, preventing high speed spin. Redistribute clothes.
Your wash tub is banging around during the spin cycle correct?
You can redistribute the wash basket load until the cows come home the issue will only continue to get worse. Maybe start throwing uC error codes to the console display for continuous unbalance error code.

Kenmore 80 series has loud banging sound during the spin cycle

I had a washer that at the beginning of the spin cycle it was fine, but when the water was half drained it would begin making a banging noise. When the draining reach the bottom and the spin speed increased it was fine. Finally found the problem - What happened was the tabs that hold the control arms for the brake had loosened. During the spin cycle especially in the middle of the cycle (when torque was at the maximum and speed was at medium. The brake spring would flex out due to compression and hit the some extended metal tab on the brake housing. Once the speed increased and the torque reduced the spring no longer hit the housing tabs. Fix the problem by bending the tabs that hold the brake control arms in place to better hold the control arms in the proper location.

Washer bangs loudly in middle of spin cycle

Make sure the back spring is still on the back of the tub. That tends to come off sometimes. Check all the other springs while you're down there too. You can balance the unit if you tilt the back side of the washer and then set it back down. it has auto leveling feet. What's happening is once the water is all drained out, the unit will enter the final spin cycle and spin very fast putting the unit off balance so the tub bounces around.

Good luck, let me know if this helped.

Kenmore Combo Washer 110.88732796 drum way off

just manually correct by over correcting (pushing)agitator in counter direction. Unless it is banging against cabinet side in next wash cycle there is no problem other then looks and will eventually correct itself in future loads cycles

Admiral clothes washing machine AAV7000AW

Hello calmtouch,

You said,
When in spinning cycle, the barrel begins to move all over banging the washer across the floor. I don't even know what to look for.

sounds like the coupling connecting the tub to the transmission may be loose and throwing the wash tub out of rotation causing the banging and walking washer.
Bless You
