Question about Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V2010 Notebook

Amillo pro 2010 screens gone black tried new inverter still no good cleaned ram no good the xp pro disc is off this laptop but got invalid message when reinstalled the screen went blank two days later cant even get it to boot or get on bios

Try useing external monitor?
Dumb Question.
Try switch monitor button? Fn + F5 (together) usually
Hard way,
Remove hard drive, maybe even CD Reader, Floppy.
Power on system

In your case try the RAM part 1st.

  • You may need to roll back system with System Restore (press F8 during boot and choose safe mode).
  • Uninstall last program(s) that was installed, again in safe mode.
  • Re-install Windows. Clean install works best.
  • Test one DIMM at time. One slot at a time. To eliminate possible bad RAM.
  • Lastly you may have other hardware problems. If it does another blue screen after reloading windows, especially with a clean install.

Do you hear any beep code? If so, first check the RAM (you may try to clean the golden colored area of the ram but carefully and restore it in the laptop. If you steel hear some beep code you may have to try with other good RAM with the same value ).

If not and black screen with some message, please post those details with your problem.

THERE SHOULD BE PROBLEM WITH THE RAM. PLS CHANGE THE RAM AND TRY. OR IF YOU HAVE 2 RAMS INSTALLED TRY REMOVING 1 AND TRY. THE RAMS ARE GENERALLY PRESENT IN THE CENTRE IN THE BOTTOM SIDE OF THE LAPTOP. PLS REPLY OR COMMENT. THANKS

My e-machines etower 633is won't boot up. The beginning black screen comes up then the E-machines screen and that's as far as it will go. It gets stuck there. Can you give me some idea what is causing...


I cant really seem to understand but if the computer beeps then you should take the RAM out and clean it and re-insert it. and try again. Sometimes the processor can give that kind of problem if it is faulty.But if after cleaning the RAM it still doesnt work please take it to the tech department.

Check by rebooting it to BIOS--Press Del or F1 during boot....
Choose F8 option during startup intial stage-Windows
Choose Safe Mode----If it works---then No Problem with Hardware,,but with Operating System--Repair or Reinstall Operating System using Valid XP Serial Key

your problem is a faulty ccfl BackLight Inverter, the display uses the backlight to illuminate the lcd screen, the inverter is used to illuminate the cold cathode light in the back of ther lcd theirs countless places to laern about it on google

Restore factory settings on a fujitsu siemens amillo pro


Hi there,
You should be able to fix this simply by inserting the original Cd that came with the computer and following the onscreen instructions.
Or the startup disks (if created) when you first used your laptop.
Alternatively If you do not have the one that came with your computer then you should be able to purchase one from ebay quite easily, and then insert it and follow the onscreen instructions.
