18 volt charger will not charge cordles colman drill

Could be the charger, or the batteries are defect. Sometimes just the contacts are dirty or oxidised. Make sure they are clean.
When you have a multimeter, you can check in the charger, if it is giving a voltage high enough to charge the battery and on the battery you can check its voltage is high enough to power the drill.

Battery fully charged but only getting a clicking from the starter relay

If the battery is fully charged (test it with a good volt meter), and the solenoid is good (prove this by measuring the volts on the battery side of the solenoid when pressing the start button) and it still will not start, suspect the starter or the wire from the soleniod to the starter.

On full cycle when water turned off now not heating water

Hi Barry. Most of the times the problem is the temperature sensor located near to the heating element, at the bottom side of the appliance.

Before going for the sensor check pressure at faucet. Make sure that hot water is correctly connected and that there is pressure. If inlet is double, check water temperature at hot faucet. Test the appliance running hot water for a couple of minutes before starting the cycle.

If that is not the problem, then the heating element and thermostat must be removed from the appliance and tested. Testing is done reading impedance respectively across thermostat and element contacts. If any of the two parts returns Ohms infinity (circuit open), then the part must be replaced. If the parts comprised in the heater assembly are OK test wiring and timer board.

Operations that involve disassembling must be carried by qualified personal.

Hi i have a colman hot water on demand but have lost the 240 volt charger.i was wondering what milliamps or amps it needs to puchase another one from a elec store.

Coleman Charger mine is a 240~volt ~50Hz 12V~600mA
my other is a 240v ~5oHz 12V~1mA battery should only be( 6V4.5Ah)
with a 1mA hour change should only be 4 hours to charge as its a fast charger.

Hi, I have an older mobil home with a Colman AC

Your unit uses both the capacitor and a contactor (relay) to start your compressor and motor. With the indications you are giving it would either be the capacitor or the contactor - and since you have already changed the cap - then replace the contractor!

NOTE: We always recommend that you change the capacitor and relay at the same time, because they seem to fail at about the same time.

Running out of hot water I replace both heater coils and still seems like were running out of hot water the top coil has 230 volts going to it but the lower has no volts going to it jeff thanks

Hi,

Only one of the hot water heater elements will have power going to them at a time...
When the water at the top of the tank gets hot then the top thermostat should switch the power to the bottom one... this may not be happening...therefore you are only getting about a thrid of a tank of hot water...

A12 volt battery was hooked to system instead of the 6 volt can unit be saved

More than likely the internal fuse will have blown.
Steps: Remove a side of the housing (about seven screws) (even one under the knob decal) locate the circuit board in upper front area. locate fuse on circuit board behind water seal remove and replace fuse and reseal refit circuit board refit housing and decal cross your fingers, say a prayer, ready for testing now your there...good luck !

No Power Problem with KV-27s15 Sony TV

Barry, remove the back cover by removing the screws with an arrow next to them. The fuse is located on the left side as viewed from the back, where the power cord connects to the circuit board.

1993 Kawasaki 750R - Model M , charging issue - WEIRD !!!

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, have you checked the 30 Amps main fuse and its holder clips? It would be integrated with the starter relay. The fuse or the fuse holder may have heat related problem(s) causing it to loose conductivity when hot.The fuse may require replacement even if it tests good and/or the fuse holder would need cleaning / crimping. To locate the starter relay (main fuse), follow the battery cable from the + terminal of the battery.

Please postback results.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

I doubt it. Water damage usually is fatal, or very expensive.
