Make sure that the closed captioning is turned off. For text and for audio i would suggest check in menu in the audio section for possibly SAP (second audio program) or something similar to this to disable that feature. Let me know how it goes. Jay

How to turn off audio commentary when it is playing some films?

On the remote will be either a button marked "status" "display" or "sound mode". Push that when the DVD is playing. If you see "1 English" or "2 English" or even "commentary" in the OSD. Then you have found the way to change the soundtrack. Pressing the up, down, or sideways arrow keys should take you to the place of the "1 English" etc and highlight it. You should then be able scroll to one that turns off the commentary off. For example 1 English might meant just the normal soundtrack in English, 2 English might add subtitles. If the film has other languages these will also appear. Some might have Dolby soundtracks and other modes so if you want these make certain you select them.
Sorry I can't be precise as to which button to press as you didn't state make or model number.

It's like a blind setting or commentary setting. I want to take it off and watch my dad normally

You asked,
" Its like a blind setting or commentary setting. I want to take it off and watch my dad normally."
I can't make sense out of this question.
Are we getting a partial conversation here? Is this part of a discussion that you started with someone else?

How do I stop my Dad's Bell & Howell projector from "skipping" while running a film, model L, design 122.

For a projector to run right, the motor has gear teeth in it that engage with the hollow points on the film itself. The motor has to turn at a steady speed with no friction or hesitation. It is possible the motor on the inside of the projector needs to be oiled or cleaned out...or rebuilt at worse.
There is also the motor that pulls the film thru the projector and winds it onto the receiving spool. Sometimes that motor is out of synch with the projector drive motor and trys to pull the film thru to fast or turns to slow and the you get that "clicking " sound when the receiving spool isn't winding the film up fast enough and the film gets dragged on by those projector teeth and make that plastic clicking sound.
Watch the film while it is running between the two reels and the projector lens. The film should be slightly taunt going into the projector and slightly taunt coming back out of the projector. If you see the film grouping up in front of the projector drive or after, then you know your spools are needing greased up or there is a drag on the motors causing things to be unsynchronized.

This is definitely a mechanical problem and you need to watch the film being fed into the projector and how it is wound up n the receiver spool to see where the fault lies.

Developing a film without opening the camera

Am i right in thinking the keystone is a old 8mm movie camera? Never had any experience with movie cameras, or developing their film- I'm goin to assume its like 35mm developing, apologies if this is completly useless advice.
I'm fairly certain you will not be able to develop film in camera (camera will end up pretty wet). If the problem you have is actually getting film out o the camera I'd suggest a changing bag- basically a light tight bag that you put the camera in with your developing tin (if your home developing) or canister if your using a lab, you then have to put your hands inside 2 holes either side and transfer your film from camera to developing container- blind.
I'd advise doing a couple practice runs first with some old unused film just to get the hang of it- it can be tricky.
Again I have no experience with 8mm film processing but I'd imagine the principles are similiar.
You can get hold of changing bags from most photographic retailers, and always follow instructions that came with your film.

There is a small plastic gear that disintegrates with age on these units. The gear is worn and cannot turn the larger gear to thread the film. Good luck finding parts. There is one place that sells parts but I think they gauge the public
