The best way to learn how to use your ipod is just play with it. the first thing you want to do is load the itunes software off the disc that came with it. if you do not have the disc, you can download the most updated software off of Apple's website. once the software is completely installed, you can start transfering music/video to itunes. once you plug your ipod into the computer. most likely, it will automatically load anything you have checked. hopefully this will help get you started.

My daughters itouch is disabled and she doesn't remember the password and her dad isn't able to remember the email is was set up under. When I try to restore it, it gets almost done then says I...

God bless your soul, tinkering with Apple's odd procedures has been the most annoying thing i ever have to deal with :)

  • So you can try plugging it in to a computer/laptop with itunes
  • Next, hold the iPod's home button and power button at the same time until the logo below pops up

  • The iPod would be in restore mode. iTunes shouldn't be trying to sync or anything and it should probably allow you to restore without any more errors.

If this doesn't work....

you could try a program like "iPod Transfer"
I've never used a program like this but it's supposed to be able to recover, restore and backup files on the iPod. Again i really don't know much about this program or if it even works.

I spent a good time just now trying to figure out a reasonable way, and there aren't many ways, so if this doesn't work, just let me know and maybe you can call apple or i can look for something else to help.

Good luck :)

How can i re program my ipod?

You don't have to reprogram anything with an ipod, the software are giving you problems, you can reset it back to factory settings(default settings) ie. "Restoring iPod to factory settings". All your data will be deleted upon reseting to default settings. Reference link from Apple

How to reset iPod
If you don't know which iPod is yours, have a look at this list.

Hope it helps.

I bought I Home keyboard IH-K231MS today and I don't have a MAC will it work with HP computer or any other computer ?.

Don't know for sure, but the special keys need a driver you have to install (which is written for an Apple machie, so probably won't work. The normal key may work, but you might have to ID the keyboard. If you can connect an iPod to a PC via a USB cable to sync it (have never used a pc so don't know if that's possible), the PC may be able to see the iPod.
All in all, maybe.
