The battery is dead, that is why it does not change from green to red. you need to replace the dead battery.

How long will the batters last on kodak m753

Every rechargeable battery has a certain cycles of charging and discharging the battery. Not two batteries have the same life time. The amount of cycles a battery can have, can be influenced by the user. If you leave a battery without charging or discharging for months or even years, the lifetime can be shortened. That is why most of the time you get warranty on the equipment, but almost never on a battery. (sometimes a warranty of 90 days is given on a battery.)
Still when a battery won't charge, you could check all the parts in the chain. The AC / DC power convertor / charger the power cable.
When the light on the charger comes on, you can assume the charger is working.
If you can charge the battery in the camera everything looks the same. As soon as the green light comes on (starts to flash slow) you can assume the AC adopter is working. The charging of a fully discharged battery should take about 4 hours.
I have two Kodak Li/ion batteries and after almost 10 years, they are still on good condition. But I also had to trow away lots of other batteries, before they were about one year of age. (I did charge them wrong, with a high current, more then they could handle)

Lithium ion battery does not last as long

There is no such thing as a memory system in your battery. If you charge the battery until the green light on the charger comes on, that is as much as the battery can/will safely charge to. With Lithium batteries, they will fully charge whether they are at 75%, 50% or 10% capacity when placed on the charger and discharge to 0% if you use them that long. If you need the battery before the green light comes on and you use it, it will still fully charge when replaced on the charger. All batteries do discharge at different rates. Most not noticeably but a few will discharge fast enought to be noticable. If it affects your usage of the tool, you may want to exchange it or get it replaced under warranty because it will only get worse with age.

When plugged into the charger the throttle light and charger light are green but when I remove the charger the throttle light immediately changes to yellow and it will not move and i hear a clicking sound

your battery voltage is dropping straight off the charger - batteries are not holding charge & need replacing. You can have your batteries load tested at the battery shop to confirm.

Battery won't charge up

One or more of the cells in the battery may have died while it wasn't being used. LI-Po batteries are memory resistant but they can still develop one if they're left fully discharged too long or at a half charge too long. They require full charge\discharge cycles to keep them from developing a memory.

Non starter ignition lights only come on when battery charger is on. starts when jump leads are connected. as soon as you disconnet leads dies straight away and no ignition lights. battery fully charged.

either the battery is not good or the battery terminals are bad.
the ignition lights should come on , if they do when the charger is connected.
I assume you are connecting the charger or jump cables to the battery terminals

Be careful jumping of a bigger battery it can spike the regulator when the engine starts and tries to produce 50-60 amps

Green & Yellow light on 14.4V charger

It sounds like your battery is bad.

If both yellow and green LEDs come on, this indicates
a deeply discharged or defective battery pack.
Allow the battery pack to remain in the charger for 15
to 30 minutes. When the battery pack reaches normal
voltage range, the red LED should come on. If the
red LED does not come on after 30 minutes, this may
indicate a defective battery pack and should be
replaced.
n After normal usage, a minimum of 1 hour of charging time
is required to fully recharge battery pack.

Battery won't charge on my ryobi 14.4v cordless drill yellow and green lights stay on

I had the same problem and found a solution on another forum...
Plug the battery into the charger. The yellow and green lights come on. Leave the battery plugged into the charger. Plug and unplug the charger power cord from it's power source a few times until the the red charger light comes on..... problem solved!

I think the "smart" circuit in the charger that is supposed to trickle charge before the regular charge cycle needs at least some battery power to test and start the cycle. If the battery is totally discharged, the test can't deternine the battery status and will not charge.... Plugging and unplugging the charger seems to bypass this teat and charge the battery normally. The charging process should work normally after this method.
