The web site you suggested does not show the cog belt I need for the Cooks mixer. How about doing more research and give me a better solution.

By my measurement of the broken belt it is 12.22 inches or 31cm long. Therefore it would be ~3.9 in or ~9.9 cm in diameter. It has a total of 56 cogs or ~4.58 cogs per inch or ~1.8 cogs per cm. It is~1/8in wide but could fit the pulleys if wider. Given this can you be more specific as to where I could order a replacement! Is it not absurd that an otherwise good and expensive mixer would become worthless jungk because of a simple broken belt?? It should not be this hard!

Did you get my response with the dimensions of my belt?? I need something more than what you have given me. Jerry

    Dear RNJ,

The tmeinc.biz web site you suggested was another dead end. You mentioned "Baush" as someone who makes universal cog belts but you did not provide any contact info. You also said you could be of further help if I provided the belt dimensions. I sent you the belt dimensions in my previous comment. Here they are again: The broken belt is ~12.22 inches (31.0cm) long. therefore the diameter is ~3.9 in (9.9cm). There are 56 cogs which gives ~4.58 cogs/in or ~1.8 cogs/cm. The belt is ~1/8in wide but could be a little wider and still fit the pullys. i await your "additional assistance"

If you can supply the width of the belt and how many teeth, I can probably locate one for you. It's a timing belt. There isn't much information available about Cook's mixers. I'll be checking industrial supply companies I have dealt with for timing belts and such.

The only 56 tooth belts available that I could find are either 12.5" or 11.22". The 11.22" are available at http://www.econobelt.com/

They have a huge assortment of small timing belts. A simple email to them will either get you a belt, or they can steer you to an exact supplier. Belts are their business. They have a lot more exacting resources than we do. I hope this helps you.

Where did you find the 12.5" / 56 tooth belt?
    Thanks,

    Hi,

You wont get exactly the COOKS MAKE cog belt for your mixer as the company stops making parts for the products.

The only option is choosing a universal size COG BELT, for this you have to measure the size of your old COG belt and you should get the same inch COG belt from the other parts maker..

Baush and other companies make Universal Cog belt.

I can suggest you some, if you provide me the size of your cog belt

please leave me comment, if you need further assistance

Generally you can get Universal COG BELT online..But my personal advice is buy from a neaest parts shop, by showing the broken COG BELT, and requesting then to show the universal type..

There are lot of chance for the things to go wrong in terms of specification, if you buy online..
