Sometimes it wont turn on, or I will use it, then I will put it on standby and then try to resume the nav, and it it will not turn on. Even plugged in. As if the battery is completely dead, but I have not even had it a year.

Sounds like you have it in standby mode. PSP turns off with the switch going the same direction as you turned it on. Back to the top, slide the switch all the way DOWN and it is in standby mode ready to resume your game just where you left off. Unless of course the battery dies on in which case you get to do it all over again because it never saved anything.
with tv in standby press INFO / MENU / MUTE / STANDBY on remote the tv will come on in factory menu settings look for reset use DOWN NAV KEY until highlighted and press RIGHT NAV KEY
to exit settings press standby the tv will come on and follow on screen instructions
DO NOT CHANGE ANY OTHER SETTINGS TV WILL NOT WORK IF CHANGED
go into analogue tv press menu move down to settings you should be able to enter plug and play in menu press ok( if you can not enter it you are not in analogue )
if not solve problem try this !! warning !!
you will enter the service menu DONT ENTER OR CHANGE ANY OTHER ITEMS THAT ARE DISPLAYED AS TV WILL NOT WORK IF YOU DO
With tv in standby press INFO / MENU / MUTE / STANDBY on remote
then use ONLY DOWN nav-key move to number 12 FACTORY RESET
press RIGHT nav-key will reset all tv settings to factory ones
PRESS STANDBY TO EXIT on remote
you will have to RETUNE after tv after
right click on desktop > properties > screen saver > click on
power > set the time u want your monitor to turn off ( but with the
pc on ) and the hard disk also, but i would suggest give it more time
with the hard disk.
and standby mode, i think it's what you want, it turns off the whole computer but if you touched anything, it will turn back on.
hibernate closes the computer completely but it's same like standby, coz the application will still be running and all.
about the welcome/login screen, click on advanced tab > under options, uncheck prompt for passport when computer resumes.
