Question about AT&T Blackberry Curve 8300 Smartphone
My LG VU is in emergecy call mode an says insert smartchip when i already have it in. it works sometimes, but more than often it dosent read the sim card.
Check to be sure the SIM is i
If it works, there is an issue with your VU and you should contact AT&T for replacement options (warranty, insurance, upgrade). There are other options too like purchasing from ebay or craiglist, or getting a gophone (AT&T prepaid) and putting your SIM in it. It will have your phone number and contact information, you don't have to activate a prepaid account.
If the SIM does not work in another phone, get a SIM replacement. You can do this free and save $25 by going to your nearest AT&T COR store (the ones that sell iPhones, not best buy or walmart or apple... AT&T) and telling the tech support said to get a free SIM.
Hope I could help :)
