Problem for Epson Stylus Photo R1800 InkJet Printer
Cannot print true black only on r1800
Help! I have an r1800 and cannot figure out how to print my b&w prints with black only ink like I did with my 1280. There is an options in Print Settings, but it DOES NOT WORK!!! B&W prints come out purplish. I want neutral gray blacks like with my 1280. I need a 13" format.
ANY ADVICE? anyone?

- Dont think this will do it- I just installed the drivers yesterday. It is the printer that does not seem to have the function to print with black only, even when I select this in the settings panel.Solution #1

HI,
If you can click on the "Systems Preferences' and then click on 'Print and Fax' pane. You can then identify your printer and RIGHT CLICK on it. choses "reset printer' and it will automatically put the correct print drivers in and you should be back in business.
