before you change the screen, try to plug the laptop into a monitor or any flat screen tv. are you able to view the image on the tv? if so, your screen is broken.if not, there is something wrong with your laptop and you may want to consider a system restore.

step1. remove battery and ac adapter for your laptop
step2. HoLD POWER BUTTON for 30secs-1mint
step3. put back battery and ac adapter
step4. power on it sud boot normally
Maybe not. Find the FN key. It is usually BLUE in color
Then look on TOP row of Computer keyb (or all over) and find CRT/LCD.
Press the FN and that key and your screen should come back. You accidentally sw. it to CRT (outside, external monitor)
