Question about Refrigerators
I have a Crosley Shelvador side by side refridge/freezer, not sure of the year, but an older model. On the freezer side, down near the bottom, on the back wall is a grate. water seems to be forming and leaking onto the bottom of the freezer where it is freezing and builds up until the door will not shut properly.
You have a frozen defrost drain, first of all defrost all of the ice out of the drain pan behind the grate, once the ice is gone you'll see a drain hole that goes thru the floor of the refrig. you need to flush some hot water thru this drain.
I use a big syringe filled with hot water to do this it will force any sludge build up out of the drain tube into the drain pan.
kind of an easy fix even if you aint 10=)
