I have a CD that has pictures on it and I want to download it to my laptop. How do I go about doing that? A friend copied pictures from her camara to this CD and I want to put it on my computer.
You will have to insert the CD into your CD drive on your laptop/desktop pc. Go to Windows Explorer and double click on the CD Drive and select the pictures which you want to copy by pressing CTRL button and selecting the pictures and right click and click on copy to to transfer the pictures to your My Pictures folder.
put it into the cd drive and a window will pop up with some choices. you can either choose download, or you can open the files for viewing and then click and drag them to your desktop.

Have Thinkpad t41 running XP Professional. Trying to connect to netzero dialup. Get a 633 modem or other device already in use. Not sure if this is a problem but the Ethernet indicator light is always solid yellow with nothing connected to the port. Have another lap top that I can connet to net zero using the same phone cable. No Ethernet lights are on. Netzero properties shows the Agere Systems AC 97 modem is using Com 3. When I look at device manager it only shows LPT1 & Com 1. The computer that connect also only shows LPT 1 & Com 1, so not sure thats a problem. Any help appreciated! Don
