My panasonic ct-32g6 has a horizontal line through the middle i can hear the sound but all that comes on the screen is the horizontal line.what is the problem?

The fact that there is a horizontal line on the screen tells you that all circuits are in operation except the vertical circuit , The virtical IC is probaly shorted or the reisitor that supplies voltage for the fly back is open in addition the negative feerback from the signal processor IC can be open also which can cause a horizantal line .You will have to check all dose circuits to seewhat is causing the line

LG Xenon keypad slid open will not turn horizontal on the screen

I read that you can rub a magnet on the backside of the slider and it makes the screen turn portrait and horizontal - you can see that when you rub the magnet on the backside. I just rubbed the magnet with the slider open on the horizontal side (only the right side) - if you rub the left side it makes it portrait. I did that a few times and my phone turns horizontal now when I open the keypad slider. It appears to have worked doing this at this point.

Toshiba 32A14 horizontal line

This symptom is characterized by a thin horizontal line in the middle of the screen. This symptom is caused by the absence of the deflection sawtooth current in the horizontal deflection coil.
The trouble is easily isolated by a continuity test and by checking the most likely defective components such as A)open vertical linearity compensation transformer, B) open capacitor and C) open horizontal deflection coil.
Be sure to decrease the brightness first before trouble-shooting if the line is very bright,as it burn the phosphor screen..

Hope this may help;

If you indeed have a line down the center of the screen that means the horizontal output transistor is working as it produces high voltage as well. The rectifiers are working otherwise you would have no power or sound. What you need to look at is either the horizontal windings of the deflection yoke are open or you have a open return from the yoke to the horitontal output stage.

Flickering horizontal lines

sounds like a problem in the horizontal deflection circuit.possibly a solder problem. try re-soldering the horizontal transistor, line coils and yoke pins.
