Hi,
it s due to damaged convergence IC.
There are two and large IC’s that control the convergence in a big screen set. They are secured to a very large aluminum heat sink. T they are located on the signal board (on the left as you look into the back of the set).Along with the convergence IC’s there will also be some associated components that will need to be replaced as well. There are some resistors that are part of the convergence circuit that will be open and need to be replaced. Most likely these will appear charred in the center. If you have an Ohm Meter or a DVM, check all the resistors that are close to the IC’s and you should be looking for either ones that have opened or have changed values. There are also two resistors on the front of the board located in the middle that are fusible link resistors, these should be checked for opens and replaced if they are found so.I would suggest that you contact a service center in your area for a complete diagnosis and repair, as this type of repair can get a little tricky. But if you want to repair the set yourself, just remember to be careful. The capacitors and CRT’s can hold a charge and may shock you.

No green and yellow colour

Hello
If you see the picture in yellow colour, means that there is no blue colour output from the video drive section in your tv, Yello is the mixtrure colour of red and green. Green is actualy there. blue colour is absent.
To detect this fault, you must open your tv. Just look in to the video output section, can be located at the picture tube base card, which is plughed into it diretly. See for any loose soldering points there. Check whether transisotors are used for red, green and blue output stages, or an Ic or three seperate Ics are used for this purpose. Anyway, blue catode of your picture tube pin gets a hig voltage, and so the blue emission is absent. You just check the voltages at red, gree and blue catodes, at the respective picture tube pins, which can be taken at picture tube base card. All of these three pin voltages must be somewhat equal to each other. In your case, no voltage at blue cathode will be higher that the other two. Check for the reason. It may be due to an open video output transistor [blue], or an Ic, of one Ic if used for the three colour outputs. Check and replace the same, will rectify your problem. Ok
If you have andy difficulty, get it to me through Fixya. Ok

Problem with a colour display on Hisense tv

If your picures are all purple it means that the green colour is missing. TV colour is made up by mixing Red, Green & Blue. Removing Green leaving Red & Blue makes purple. Study the green colour circuit for a fault and confirm that the green gun inside the tube is working.

The colour is off and the conversion

You have a problem with the blue and green tubes having a fungus growing across the face of the tube, thus blocking the light/picture. This will cause the color to be way off and the focus as well. Need to have the fluid changed in blue and green tubes. The red never seems to be affected...must be the red wave lenght inhibits the growth of algee or something. Anyway....That's what you need, not the convergance chip STK's. Trust me on this. T.V. tech. for over 20 years...see this ALL the time. Good luck.

Toshiba colours gone wrong

Yes it is repairable. One of two things is wrong. The color wheel is going bad or the DMD board is going bad. These are the most common repairs needed for a Toshiba. I hope this will help.
