Question about Nextar MA933A MP3 Player

1 Answer

Pressing the menu key to select a folder

The menu key easily toggles back and forth but most of the time nothing happens when I press the menu key to select a folder. I am giving these to my kids for Christmas and I have added music to them but playback is very inconsistent.

I just plugged mine directly into the computer and my computer recognized it. I already had windows media PLAYER open and I hit the SYNCH tab and dragged music over to it. I was unable to do it with windows media CENTER open. What I haven't figured out is how to scroll through the mp3 and choose an album. Right now my kids are scrolling though each song to get to the next album. Very tiresome. These things are CHEAP!

    Hello,

I was able to download music from Windows Media Player, but can't get any music to play on the MP3 player. I highlight the music menu, press play and nothing happens.

You have to push down and go to the side. Could you explain somewhere how to get the music onto it. I am having so much trouble with that part.

I need to master reset may Motorola Blur

To Hard Reset the Motorola BLUR MB300 quite differs from other Motorola ANDROID phones.

Do back up all your data stored on your device before doing this procedure, this process will delete all the data on the phone but does not delete the data stored on the microSD memory card.

To hard reset Motorola BLUR MB300
1. Power off phone.
2. Hold camera button and power on phone at the same time.
3. Release the camera button when prompted to.
4. You will see a message screen telling you to press the up or down volume button
5. Press and HOLD the down volume key (ignore message 'Volume Up Key Pressed')
6. When triangle and phone screen appears
7. Press on the screen just above the back key
8. You will now see the "Motorola system recovery" menu
At this point you will have three choices:

1. reboot system now [Menu+Back]
2. apply ssdcrad:update.zip [Alt+S]
3. wipedata/factory reset [Alt+W]
You can simply tap an item to select it.

At the bottom of the screen you can select OK to apply your choice from the menu.

There is also an opportunity to select Hide on the bottom left, I don't know what that does (I tried it and nothing happened).

Selecting Wipe data/factory reset and tapping Ok and the screen changes to a box and a phone (Get it - out of the box) and you see what is happening on the phone.
pick 2
-- Wiping data...
Formatting DATA:...
Formatting CACHE:...
Data Wipe Complete.

Press Menu+Back to reboot

pressing Menu+Back did nothing for me so I tapped 'reboot system now' on the menu and Ok.

The phone restart then will restore back to its factory default state.

Have a microsoft wireless comfort keyboard and mouse 5000. When hitting the 'f'' I get a search for files and folders screen. When hitting the 'l' key, I am locked out. 'M' key clears the screen...

Sounds like the Windows key is stuck. Try pressing both of them a few times to toggle it and see if this still happens. If it does try removing the keyboard, shutting down and put the keyboard back in.

Please leave feedback if this was helpful. Thanks.

Control panel menu is not in english.

Here are 2 ways of changing that. I changed mine to Portugese once. Had a heck of a time figuring out what the menu said LOL. Both proceses will change it back. To change the language used for the text on the front panel:
  1. On the front panel, with Menus highlighted, press the OK key.
  2. Scroll to the Printer Setup Menu by pressing the Up Arrow or Down Arrow key.
  3. Press the OK key.
  4. Scroll to Set Front Panel Language by pressing the Up Arrow or Down Arrow key.
  5. Press the OK key.
  6. Scroll to the desired language by pressing the Up Arrow or Down Arrow key.
  7. Press the OK key to save the selected setting
This is how you change it via your computer.
  1. Open a web browser on your pc.
  2. Type the IP address of the printer into the address area and press return.
  3. Select the Properties tab when the page is done loading.
  4. Look in the left hand column for the + General folder.
  5. Click on the + one time to open the folder.
  6. Under the general folder you will see a subfolder named Printer Defaults.
  7. Click on the Printer Defaults folder one time and you will see a new column open on the right side of the page named Printer Defaults.
  8. In the first box, User Preferences, you will see a header for; Set front panel language with the default setting.
  9. Click on the down arrow and a list of different languages will open.
  10. Select the desired language.
  11. Scroll down the page and under the last box you will see two tabs named Save Changes and Discard Changes.
  12. Select Save Changes one time.
  13. Once you have pressed Save Changes you should get a box that opens up and states; Request Acknowledged; No errors were reported.
  14. Look at the front panel of the printer and the language should be changed to the language you selected above.

My ipod nano wont do anything

  1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.

Hope this helps

Regarding RCA RP5011A

Turn on = Play + Menu (at the same time)
Turn off = Stop (will revert to just clock)
Selecting folders or changing options = Turn on then press menu to move through options and use the forward and backward buttons to change within options
Deleting a file within a folder = Select the folder through menu options (A or B) then exit menu (cycle through all options or press stop once while in menu) then press the forward key to cycle through files within folders (1 or 2) then press delete once to display "Del" next to file then press delete a second time to delete file.
