Wrong firmware updated to my Sharp HP20

When I played a newly-bought BD title, it directed me to visit www.blu-ray.com which I did and clicked on firmware to download a firmware update. no warning was displayed when I downloaded and updated it to my player. now my player only plays US version movies and not Australian. I have 50 blu-ray discs in my collection and only a quarter of them that I have watched. i have called up Sharp but they wouldn't offer any free support to my problem. my player's been idle and useless for 5 months now and they have just voided my warranty. Can someone please offer any help? I just want to flash the current firmware so I can update the UK version.
