Most likely there is a problem with the paper sensor or the pick up roller. Does your printer try loading the paper at all? If it does, check and see if the pickup roller has enough friction to pickup up the paper. What model is your printer anyway?

Turn the printer off.
take all the paper out.
make sure there is nothing blocking the feed area.
put just half the paper in and make sure it is placed correctly ...... slide the stack in until it gently hits.
now turn the printer on again and see if it works.

We are the suppliers for HP printers/copiers in Samoa and we are currently having problems with as HP Photosmart wireless multifunctional printer. The error message 0x6100004c keep on appearing even though...

Here is a support document on how to resolve printer errors:

If you are able to attempt printing from the wireless network, and the printer is making noise like it is trying to print then you are successfully connected to the network. If the printer is not even attempting to print then the printer may be offline. Click on the start menu and then select the printers and faxes, or the printers and devices folder. Right click on the printer name and select "use printer online". If the printer is already online open the printer queue and look to see if there are any errors for the print job. Normally if the message is saying there is a paper issue, you can remove all the paper from the printer, shut down the computer and printer, reload the printer with paper, and then restart the computer and printer.

Document goes to the print queue, then errors

To start with You check the data cable is properly connected to your printer than you open the printer dialogue box and remove the documents pending in the queue and retstart the computer and before giving the print command select the printer that you are going to use(if more printers are connected to the computer).if all this does not work i suggest you to reinstall the printer after uninstalling it
