Question about Maytag 24 in. MDBH950AWS Built-in Dishwasher
I have a Maytag dishwasher Model MDB 7100AWQ. I had a plastic spoon drop down under the basket and the heating element melted a hole in the handle. The dishwasher will now come on when push the light load button and start to wash but will only run for about 5 to 6 min befor the wash cycle stops the timer will continue to count down but nothing happens. After it stops I have to push the drain button to get the water pumped out. Can you tell me what I have to do to fix it? Thank you MrTLC
The motor on your model has a built-in thermal overload and will drop out if excessive amperage or motor temperature causes the overload to open. It takes a while for this to reset.
Does your dishwasher runs after leaving it for sometime..
Check the amperage and voltage of the motor, this must be issue with the motor..
Id it getting stopped exactly at the drain cycle or its getting stopped randomly..
Please leave my query as comment, and we may solve your issue
