Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Aside from any intrinsic problem with your receiver, the usual suspects are;
1) Shorts in the speaker wiring.
2) A rubbing loudspeaker voice coil.
Remove all input and output connections from your receiver and determine whether the unit remains on. If it does, check for the conditions indicated above.
