Question about Alpine TDM-7546

How to remove from dash so i can fix dash lights. I have a 1987 suburban, i had a Alpine TDM-7546 receiver installed by audio king years ago, and i need to take the plastic dash off in order to replace dash instrument light bulbs. The radio is locked to the plastic dash some how, and i don't know how to unlock it. Thanks,George

Alpine TDM-7546 push source button goes radio to cassette back to radio. Can not find cd player. Was working last week.


try disconnecting the changer for an hour or so and see if it resets itself. sometimes it may be best to disconnect it overnight to be sure.

If this is the model fitted in a TOYOTA then the code is only available from the Main Dealer or a Decode Specialist (or your local Car Radio / Audio Store) who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip

Installing rear speakers


You need a pair of alpine radio removal keys which get inserted in the slots along the sides under the trim ring. Any Car stereo shop should have them for free(ish).
