Try menu (left soft key) > down three, right one > press 5 > press 2 > press 1.

That should do it.

Old nokia 3120. dropped phone, screen just went blue. contacts and texts stored to phone. need to get texts off for court evidence.hoping it's just screen but if screen not fixable can i get texts etc...

The texts should be saved to the sim card on this phone, and can be extracted by putting the sim into any other ATT phone. The lcd has broken on the phone during the drop, and can only be fixed by installing another LCD, however given the age of the phone, buying another phone would be more cost effective.

You can copy all your contacts in the sim card by going to contacts -> settings -> and copy all the contacts to your sim. Other information or data can be copied to memory card only.

Broke screen on a lg shine model cu720 how do i transfer contacts to simcard

HI...

unless and untill you replace your displace you will not be able to trnsfer the contacts to sim.

If you have same mobile with you can check and do by press keys according to this mobile in your broken screen mobile...but you can do by trail and error method only and it may be risky too. but you cannot be sure that you have coped all the contacts to sim

thanx

I turn on my LG Shine cell phone and no matter

Turn off the phone. Take the battery and Sim Card out. Make sure there is no dust or dirt of where the Sim Card goes. Blow air (from your mouth) of where the Sim Card goes. Sometimes rubbing a soft pencil eraser on the Sim Card contact points can help. Then place the Sim Card back in the phone. Make sure it is in the right position; copper contacts facing downward. Put the battery back in your phone. Turn it on, and see if the smartchip rejected goes away.

If not you may need to contact your Phone Provider’s Tech Support to troubleshoot and confirm that you may need a PUK reset code to register or you may need a new Sim Card, as they do fail from time to time.

I dropped my phone in toilet but i have a lg shine ke970 by att, but my sim card from t mobie won't work in the att phone i need to know how to unlock the shine so i can use it with my t-mobile service

On the AT&T Network, to unlock the LG Shine or CU720, it’s pretty simple:
  • Put a AT&T or Cingular SIM in the phone; it does not have to be an active SIM
  • Enter *#865625# then the 16 digit unlock code*
  • Device should say: Network Lock Deactivated
  • Phone may automatically reboot
*The 16 digit code can be obtained by calling AT&T Technical Support and given the representative the IMEI number. In exchange they will give you the Subsidy Unlock Code.
To obtain the IMEI number, type *#06# on your device. This is a 17 digit number and it is not the same as the unlock code, this is the IMEI number to give to AT&T Technical Support in exchange for the 16 digit Subsidy Unlock Code.
