Open Question

Can't get any AUDIO drivers to work .

TRIED EVERYONE i COULD FIND. SUPPOSED TO BE REALTEX ALC890, BUT ng. mAYBE BIOS SETTINGS. i THINK THEIR RIGHT, BUT DRIVERS ARE VERY STRANGE THE FEW TIMES i GOT THEM TO WORK UNDER 64 BIT Vista. For example, I had to turn off front inputs to make them work. Spent LOTS of downloading from everywhere. If yourt a miracle worker, well I guess I'll have to bite the bullet, and but cheap soundcard..........Larry

SOURCE: Hi i have asrock 775i65g

i do believe it comes with a support CD correct? if it does it should install the correct drivers. if you dont have a CD then windows xp driver should work from there site http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=775i65G&o=XP just look at the download that says audio (underneath where it says driver) download and install. should work because its the same C-Media chip set and they dont make vista drivers for that mobo.

Try re-installing the drivers and see if the computer picks up the hardware on your next reboot. If you're having trouble getting audio from the front panel of your desktop, try using the back panel. If it works then the cabling inside of the computer to the front panel might have become detached.

I cant get the audio card to work on my MB

Check the Bios setting for the built in audio.. Maybe it is set to disabled... if not, then there may be a problem with your motherboards built in audio..
Go to your BIOS setting then navigate to integrated peripherals, look for azalia. it should be in [auto]. Save then exit BIOS, then boot your pc normally.

''No Audio Device'' on Intellistation MPro model 6220-20u Win XP

I think you may have to get into the Bios and make sure it is turned on! this is a onboard sound componet. and there will be a switch to turn it on and off.you will get into the Bios by hitting the F1 or the F2 key when the machine hits post . Hope this helps!

No audio

1. go into control panel
then system
then hardware tab
then device manager and right click onto anything with a ! next to it and tell it to update driver.

2. If that does not fix it then download the audio driver from the acer website and install the driver.

3. If all else fails then get a usb to sound card adapter and some headphones or external speakers.

I recently installed windows xp on my computer and everything on the screen is stretched out. When I tried to adjust the resolution, it didnt have a setting for 1280 x 800 or whatever the right setting is...

actually you can't change it on the windows itself, you can adjust it on the bios.. just find it there. i don't know what your bios look like but trust me its in there. i have the same problem last year when i reformat my laptop. but i just figured that its just in the bios, now its working good. i hope this would help you

Sound not working for certain games

First. If the sound is working but you are experiencing problems with some sounds? its either the way the game is or its a program specific problem. Because the other game doesnt work I would recommend updating the audio drivers. If you provide specs on the Motherboard (make & model #) I could help you find them.

Hope this helps.
