this information is very area specific. Your best bet is to go to your local large mall and talk to a few of the service providers. In my local mall here in Canada, I can talk to Fido, Rogers, Bell, Virgin, Wind Mobile and Telus. You can also ask your friends who they use and what deals they have?
Yes i agree with you the bat could be disengaging from the Bat contacts but I want you to get a new housing for the phone sometimes the back cover can be loose as in when u place it hard on the table or pocket it loosens .
I have the same problem, only randomly, even with two key lock on. I read on here where someone said he discovered that pressing on the battery real hard (as if in your pocket) shuts the phone down. I tried and it did. I cleaned the terminals (don't scratch them--use Q-tip DAMPENED in 91% alcohol, or rub with soft cloth--don't get white paper circle with xxx wet!). Afterward, I could no longer shutdown phone by pressing battery. Solved? Time will tell. You can also go back to Verizon and they will swap it for a certified used one within the first year.
I dont think its the settings. Take the fone to the store. I seriously HATE the KS360. Mine gave me problems 2 weeks after i bought and I couldnt take it back coz i had migrated. Its such a bad phone yet its so attractive. I miss my old Nokia.
So, This Isn't Really And Uncommon Problem With This Phone, Mine Does It Whenever i Put It In My Pocket, The Best Thing To Do For This Is To Take It In To Where It Was Purchased And Report The Problem, Thats What I Did And I Got A New One Free Of Charge Due To Faulty Manufacturing.
