Hi, I have had the same issue and found little or no help out there. What I did to remedy it the first time:
Open Outlook, choose File, Import and Export, choose Export to a File, Personal Folder File .PST and follow the wizard to save the pst to a disk. Next, Open outlook with the new user and follow the same process choosing Import from another Program or File, scroll down until you see .PST and then grab the file from the wizard and import.
The other way that I have done it is through our back up software which does brick level restores and allows me to put it into an existing account.
Let me know if this helps!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
