Hi: This scanner was purchased in 2006. We are an at home business so not much photocopying is done. The original X25 cartridge is still present...as yet we have not had to insert a new cartridge.
Not sure if a message will appear to say the ink is low or if there is a problem...we cannot find the manual...would you be able to send us one?
For about a month we have noticed that the scanner is leaving some black streaks & repeats the print etc. on the photocopies...what could be the problem?

Canon MF3110 recently started leaving several black horizontal streaks and smudges across the pages of all copies and prints. Nothing in the manual about this, only mentions white streaks if toner is low. I pulled the cartridge out and see no visible streaks on the cartridge....... It looks like something needs cleaning, but I don't know what.
