I read that this is a problem with these TV's but this one does not turn on at all, ever. No matter how many times you push the power button. There is no high voltage. The only thing it will do is open and close the DVD player. The DVD does not spin. There is no sound or picture. No light, no nothing.
It may have been a power surge that hit this TV so there may not be many people that have had this problem.

Before going further, the first thing which gets activated by default & remains locked is the CHILD LOCK. This is the procedure as given in the manual:
"SCREEN Turns the screen function on (BLUE BACK, SAVER) or off.
CHILD LOCK Select OFF to turn CHILD LOCK off. Select ON to activate it. The CHILD LOCK feature takes effect after the TV is turned off and back on again. The initial password is MUTE+999. The initial password is used to clear the current password and set a new password. Keep the password a secret." A point to remember when playing DVD is "If in DVD mode, press TV, then the INPUT button twice for the CABLE or AIR channels."
Also if you have installed V-Chip then the problems with V-Chip/Parental Controls The rating limits don’t work
• For rating limits to take effect, you must lock V-Chip settings to activate them. I don’t remember my password and I want to unlock the TV
• If you forget your password you can reset it. Enter 5898 as the password and then change it to a new one.
Please try the above & post the results as a comment...sodeep

It looks like you have power circuit failure which could be because of a power surge. The power supply inside the TV produces different voltage for different components. Just for the DVD to operate 5 V is required to operate the tray, 12 V for the motor to spin the disk and again up to 33 KV for the picture tube. Its complex and requires a qualified technician to diagnose to measure these voltages to find out where the fault lies.
Best option is to contact an authorized service center for repairs. This is an imp because you will get a service warranty for the repair/replacements for at least 3 to 6 months.
If there is an option to run on a car battery (12V) then try that option before calling the service center................................sodeep

How do you connect headphones to RCA 20F510TD 20 in. TV Combo

Almost all TVs have component audio output jacks. Buy a connector that has red and white jacks on one end an a headphone on the other. 3.5 mm or 1/4 in. Plug the headphone into the jack.

What makes you think the picture tube is bad? What exactly are the symptoms you see? The RCA 20 inch picture tube is a good quality long lasting tube and I doubt I have ever seen a bad one.
