When I plug my camera into the computer using the USB cord that was given, the computer says that the camera or scanner cannot be detected. I have used the same cord with the same computer many times...

Its not always a solution but you can try using a *DIFFERENT* usb port on the computer. Windows sees each USB port as a separate thing and treats them differently. It sometimes works.

You could swap the cable if its standard. Cables do break now and then so it is a possibility. Its usually easy to find a second cable for a test.

You can check control_panel -> system -> Hardware -> Device_manager -> Imaging
[Camera name]
See if its happy. if its not, right click-uninstall it, see if it reinstalls ok next time you plug
the USB in.

Its all 15% success solutions which adds up to 45% so its probably not the answer, sadistically speaking.

Device no longer being picked up on a computer when connected via the USB

The device will act just like a USB drive when connected.
Remove GPS from computer, switch it ON then OFF.
check the cable is plugged into the computer USB ok.
If your computer is windows OS check that the device manager is not showing any errors in the USB ports.
If all ok. Then replug in GPS.
If that does not work, try another USB device or try GPS on a different computer to see if its your computer or the GPS.

If you only want to transfer your pictures from your camera to your computer, then you can do it by plugging in the USB cable from the camera to the computer and opening the drive letter associated to the camera thru windows explorer. Click on the drive and it will show you the list of folders on your camera that contains the pictures. You just need to click and drag the pictures to your computer's local drive.

If you need further assistance please let me know.

I need to get pictures from samsung r450 to the computer (usb)

Make sure that the USB port that you are plugging the phone to is working properly. You can try by connecting a USB flash disk. If the port is functioning properly it should show you a balloon after you connect your phone to the pc. If this does not work please let me know the model of the phone so that I can give some more steps

Dont know how to download music etc from computer.please help

I had a phone similar to this and it worked for me. I used it 2 different ways. First, I plugged USB into my computer, and it showed as another drive. I then used windows explorer to transfer music over. The other way, I just took out the memory stick from phone and plugged it into my computer and used it that way. Hope this helps ya

Turn off the player and let charge for about 4 hrs via USB port. This will charge the battery.

To upload songs to the player plug in to USB port and look for the removable drive through my computer or windows explorer. drag and drop MP3s into to removable drive window.

My ilo mp3 of 1 gb

no you don't need the SD, its just extra :) let your computer boot up, plug in the USB cord, and you should hear that famous little "bo-dunk!" sound that tells you something just got plugged in and windows freakin' found it. then a screen may or may not come up asking you what you want to do. if so, its pretty self explanatory from there. if you don't want to use whatever it asks for, go to WMP and go to Sync. Add your songs to the list by copy and paste, and it should say its adding the files to the device. also, if you watch the screen of the mp3 player, you'll see it flash "USB Transferring", showing that its gobbling up the songs you're feeding it (in a good sense) lol. After all the songs are copied, boot up the player (you might have to unplug it first) and make sure they work. Sometimes they freeze, sometimes they dont. For me, when they freeze i just get rid of em. I don't know how to fix the freezing, i guess its just a mishap of technology...they're everywhere. Anyways, try this and let me know what happens. hope this helps :)

Can't connect!

Has to be Windows XP for either USB Mode but im not sure whether u can connect it to other computers under different versions of Windows or not and I know Apple computers dont work at all with the Sansa E200 series. Also connect ur Sansa to the rear USB inputs instead of the front inputs. Something that has to do with power distribution if none of these call their tech support they were very helpful with my issue.
