If this is a 220 volt unit I would suggest taking a look at the breakers, often times one will trip leaving the other in service. Also, you'll want to check the positioning of the shunt bar(located in the service cutout) and make sure it is in the run/ on position. Thirdly, it is possible that the charge for the unit has deapleted and the unit needs to be recharged. Thanks, Dana P.S. You may obtain an owners manual by going to the manufacturers site and going to "Support" and then "Downloads" they offer a pdf. file which is opened by Adobe Reader 9.

If this is indeed a heating unit then the most common problem eith used units is the thermo couple, and , there is no repair for this, it must be replaced(the thermocouple that is) Thank you, Dana

Check the air filter, if its dirty it will short cycle. A clogged drain will also cause the same problem. There should be a printed legend attached to the inside of the unit or cover that gives you the meaning of all the flashing trouble codes. Perhaps yours may be missing?

Ruud achiever 10 inside blower motor burning

Check fan cage to make sure it turns freely. Check voltage to IFM make sure it is correct for the application. Make sure the motor turns the fan cage in the correct direction. IFM will have high and low speed make sure when you change from fan on to auto that the motor changes speed. If you have an amp draw meter check to see when running the motor pulls the amp load it is rated for. Recheck all wiring.

Hello, I have an achiever 90 plus ruud, when I turn it on the flame ignites but after 3 seconds it goes out, it does this 3 times than turns off. Help?

Are you saying that main burner is coming on or pilot /hot surface ignitor or spark ignitor ? If your induced draft motor is coming on then a few seconds later your main burner is coming on for 3 seconds and then shutting off but blower motor is not coming on I would look at flame sensor to make sure it is telling the fan motor to come on. Normally they will try three or four times and then lock out. One easy way to check blower motor is to set your thermostat to fan on. Fan motor should come on and run till you shut it off.hope this help you.

does the furnace ignite?? your system may not have been lighting and has gone into ignition lockout count the codes of the led lights then remove panel led diagnostic codes are listed there.
if led codes indicate no problem verify capacitor is good and that mtr is getting 115 volts.

The door, you mean the metal cover on the front? if you have the door off and push the safety switch in with your hand everything works fine? I need more info here, but if what I said is right, then the "door" isn't making good contact with the switch.
