Every time I try to print with my HP1610 when I hit print it just goes to a save as screen. I tried reloading drivers, but it will not let me print.

MAke sure that the HP1610 is the default printer. If the default printer is an XPS printer, it will ask you to save it.

I need to download it, but from where?

Google the printer driver. For example, if it's an HP1610 printer, then Google "HP1610 driver download."

Look for the link that will allow you to download the program needed for your computer to work with your printer.

Hope that helps.

How to scan HP1610

Refer to Chapter 8 in the following manual:

You can scan to an application you have set up on your computer or you can scan directly to a memory card you have inserted into the printer.

How do I install my printer without the installation cd? it's an hp1610

You can download the software from HP. For the HP1610 that website is:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=390315&

pick your OS and continue.

You listed a different printer in your header, the HP OfficeJet 6110 driver and software is at:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=79477

again pick an OS and continue.

I hope this helps.

I have a hp PSC 1610 all in one printer, connected to a hp desktop computer. I have a lynsys wireless router connected for a wireless network in the house, the desktop is the main computer for this...

Two ways to do this:
Since this is a USB printer and not a network printer you have to create a "share":

1. On the main computer that has the printer attached, go to the printer properties (START, PRINTERS AND FAXES, Right-click on the printer icon and select "sharing"
2. Select the Sharing" tab and select "Share this printer" radial.
3. Enter a short name for the printer in the "Share Name" box, such as: HP1610
4. Save that configuration and remember the "Name" you gave the share.

At each computer on your network:
1. Go to the printer setup sceeen (see #1 above)... and "ADD A PRINTER"
2. Select "Network" printer (not local printer)
3. Select "search for printers and the HP1610 will appear on the list.
4. Select it and follow the instructions from there...

Hope this helps!

Wordperfect won't print to my hp1610 but any documents on email will print

This problem is a software problem, since the printer will print from another program.
Try to use this article to troubleshoot the problem. You may need to update the drivers installed on your system, in which case this tutorial may prove helpful.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Hp1610 scaner/printer

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
