Changing the LCD lamps

You may follow the below mentioned steps to replace the lamps :

1. Power off the LCD TV. Unplug the AC power cord from the television and the electrical socket or power strip.
2. Locate the plastic or rubber grommets or screw hole covers on the rear edges of the LCD TV. Use an awl or small flat head screwdriver remove the rubber pieces from the screw holes by gently inserting the tool into the hole and prying out the cap. Note that on a few LCD TVs, the grommets or screw hole covers may be on the front face of the unit.
3. Loosen and remove the screws in the holes from which you removed the plastic or rubber grommets. Set the screws aside and keep them together.
4. Remove the plastic shield that protects the input ports on the rear of the TV if the unit has one. To remove the shield, use the awl to pry the plastic tabs loose or remove the retaining screws with the screwdriver.
5.Use the flat head screwdriver or awl to separate the front and rear pieces of the monitor casing. Start on the lower edge of the casing and gently pry the two pieces apart. Work your way around the outer edge of the television and separate the tabs until you can pull the front face off the casing. Remove the front bezel piece from the television.
6. Locate the inverter board below the LCD screen on the TV. The inverter board is small circuit board with wire connector plugs on either side. Disconnect the plug on the right side of the inverter board that leads to the backlight lamp bulb.
7. Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the edges of the LCD screen that attach it to the rear part of the TV casing. After you remove all of the screws that secure the LCD screen, place the screen face down on a soft towel.
8. Remove the screws that secure the back light lamp in its track. If the wire leading from the back light lamp to the inverter board uses clamps or ties to secure the cable, disconnect or remove them. Remove the backlight lamp from the TV casing.
9. Insert the new backlight lamp into the track and secure with the retaining screws you removed from the old bulb assembly. Run the wire through the clamps or ties as needed to position the wire plug next to the inverter board.
10. Realign the LCD screen with the screw holes in the rear part of the TV casing. Insert the retaining screws and tighten them. Connect the wire plug from the back light lamp to the inverter board.
11. Replace the front part of the TV casing and snap into place. Reinsert the retaining screws in the holes on the rear of the TV and tighten with the Phillips screwdriver. Replace the plastic or rubber grommets and push them into place securely.
12. Reconnect the AC power cord and plug it into the wall socket. Power on the TV and use normally.

Can I replace my Remington Titanium MS 5200 shaver's battery myself and where do I buy the battery?

You will find compatible batteries for model MS-5200 at shaveroutlet.com. See link below. You will need two

http://shaveroutlet.com/shaver-replacement-parts/batteries/shaver-battery-pack-for-most-shavers-p-211.html

To open the shaver body, remove one screw on the back. Also partially remove the 4 outer screws found on the metal plate under the cutters. Once these 4 screws are removed you can partially remove the top part of the shaver body (the parts with the trimmer on it). Then you will need to gently pry off the rubberized grip on the front of the shaver. This will reveal two more screws. Remove these to seperate the front and back of the shaver and access the batteries.
You will need to remove the wires from the batteries by melting the solder with a soldering iron. Solder in the new batteries and reassemble. Charge for 24 hours before use

Loose chain

Hello David; good luck to you.
I went here and input model 107624-01, followed the directions and when possible selected the IPL. I found pn 108640-01, item 32, NLA @ Remington Power:
Remington.com
http://shoppingcart.msservicecompany.com/Default.aspx
Type "YourModelNumber" into the "Search for your unit by Model:" window, then click search.
Click the “YourModelNumber” - Remington Electric Chain Saw "View Model" link.
Click “View Owners Manual” or "View Illustrated Parts Diagram" link.
Type "YourPartNumber" into the “Search for your parts by Part #:” window, then click search.

Part Number 108640-01 is available here $13.99 - the picture is a complete assembly (cover, bar nuts, spacers and tensioner assembly).
PartsFor.com
http://www.partsfor.com/
If me I would use the phone number provided, ensure it includes all illustrated parts, order with a credit card (recover your investment much easier), get the name of the service person helping me and the name of her/his supervisor.
Please re-accomplish my steps to ensure I made no mistake, I do err occasionally (I swear on a stack of UCMJs covers have been NLA for quite a while).

If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. HTH & Good Luck.

Does a Remington 3.0 HP 300 with #114732-01s have a chain tension and screw. I do not have the manual and can not see where a chain tension screw would go.

The part number is Remington's and cannot be interpreted. What is the saw model number (reply below please)?
See the 2 holes near the heel of the bar (each side of the slot)? That is where the adjuster fits. I do not recall any Remington with an "Intenz" type bar (tensioner embedded in the bar).

My Kenmore refrigerator is leaking water from somewhere on top down into the main compartment. It's also frost free but develops ice sheets in the bottom of the freezer?

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the Freezer is because the water has been leaking into the freezer instead of running into the drain hole...If you need any further assistance please feel free to comment again. good luck! P.s Please don't forget to rate my solution thanks! Mike.

The adjusting screw mechanism does not work.

I assume you are speaking of the bar adjustment screw. Remove the chain and bar--check the operation of the screw and the small prong riding the screw which pokes into a hole at the rear of the bar. Replace any damaged components, and make sure the prong fits into the hole in the bar on reassembly.

The chain on my Remington electric saw keeps jumping the sprocket. Solution? Thanks.

Depending to what model you have, the Sprocket cover tab (located on the round part of the sprocket cover) isn’t inserted into the saw body tab slot. Or your cahin is not tensioned properly. According to the manufacturer... "The adjusting block on the adjusting screw isn’t inserted into the adjusting hole on the guide bar. Reinstall and align the sprocket cover by first removing the sprocket cover from the saw. Turn tensioning screw on the sprocket cover counter-clockwise until it stops. Pull guide bar away from saw body to remove slack from chain. Insert sprocket cover tab into saw body tab slot and lower sprocket cover into guide bar bolt. Finger tighten guide bar nut onto guide bar bolt. Slowly push guide bar toward saw body until adjusting block on the adjusting screw drops into round adjusting hole on the guide bar. Securely tighten guide bar nut after properly tensioning saw chain." If these tips do not work, you may need a new chain. You can order an new chain on-line at www.masterparts.net. I hope this helps you!

I can't figure out how to reinstall the heads after cleaning on my new Remington Microflex shaver? They just pop in on my old Norelco, am I missing something?

There are 2 locating holes on some of the Remington heads, and two corresponding locating pins on the hair pocket.

Other than that, the combs need to slide into the retaining bracket , they aren't just held in like a Philips/Norelco.

Rear door panel removal 99 dakota extedned cab

If you cannot Locate any Screws, First try looking for Screw Hole Covers or Plugs. If None, Just start at the Bottom and Pull. You may need to go to your Auto Parts Store and Purchase a Package of Door Panel Fasteners for the Panel. Usually you will Break 3 or 4 of these During Removal and Install. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
