Question about Sign Led Emergency Exit - Red
I want to replace my new exit sign with the lithonia combo exit sign (LHQM S W 1 R RED M4). It has three colored wires coming out of the box(black(120v), white(neutral), and orange(270v)). How can I connect these wire to the electric box?
If you have 120 volts to the box, then just put a piece of tape or wire nut on the orange wire, and connect the black and white wires to the wires in the box. If it is 270 volts to the box, then connect your black and orange leads to the wires in the box.
hope this helps
