The lens pickup is dirty or damaged.
If the unit is under warranty call Panasonic at number listed on manual.
If you want attempt an home repair you can tray taking apart the unit and accessing the lens. Of course after disconnecting power. In there you will see the lens pickup. The lens can be cleaned using QTips and isopropyl alcohol.
If that does not work, the lens pickup must be replaced, and that is a repair that must be done by an experienced technician.
