Setting the ring tone and ringer volume You can choose one of the four different ring tones and set the ringer volume. To set the ring tone and volume: 1. Make sure that the ringer is turned ON. 2. Press the Set Options key. 3. Press the down arrow three times or press  to go directly to the item. 4. Press  and follow the instructions on the display. When picking the ring tone, press the volume bar to adjust the volume. 5. Press [Save] to end when you are satisfied with the ring tone and ringer volume.
Hi By volume do you mean Ring tone volume or Handset volume?
Ring tone volume adjustments. Press menu >settings >phone profiles Scroll the phone profile you ares using. Press on options >edit and select call alert volume. Scroll right or left to adjust the volume levels. press on select and then save.
The handset volume adjust is done by pressing on the 1st side key in idle mode.
Message tone and volume works together,so if you have your ring tone volume at the loudest level, the alert tone for messages will be at the loudest as well. If you want to adjust the volume follow these steps: go to settings --> personal --> profiles --> choose any profile that you want to be activated on your phone --> options --> personalized --> ringing volume --> choose from volume 1 to 5 as the loudest --> press ok then click back once --> options --> activate
The EXI7960 has two ring tones and two volume settings available. With the handset in standby, press the Volume up button. (The volume up and down arrows let you switch both volume and ring tone. So you may have to press it a few times to adjust the volume.) The display should show the changes.

Try going to the settings of the phone and adjust the Ringer Volume, sometimes you can do this by pressing the button on the side of your device, other times you have to go within the settings of the phone to adjust the volume.
