Question about Briel Domus Due Espresso Machine & Coffee Maker
My Domus Due is about two years old and used a couple times a week. Recently it started leaking from where the filter basket mounts on the machine. everything works fine as long as there's no coffee in the basket.
Sounds like you might have coffee oil build up. I would suggest soaking the Brew Head Screen and filter holder in a coffee oil remover by www.urnex.com or dezcal. Remove the screw if your filter basket has one. For home use it would be good to clean this every week or so. You can email me for more info: email@example.com. You also might just try purchasing a new filter basket (along with cleaning the Brew head screen and new basket).
