Samsung Dryer keeps tripping the circuit breakers

The "professional installer" likely set the pedestal on top of the power cord and damaged it, or the dryer duct has been pinched off causing the dryer to overheat.

2year old ge dryer trips breaker when it's turned on, but sometimes will run a complete cycle before it shuts off.

HELLO THERE
Electric dryers require the use of a 220 volt line. The dryer heating elements run off of 220 volts. An excessive draw of electricity, or a short in the wiring can blow a fuse or trip a breaker. This happens to protect sensitive components from damage, and to help prevent fires. Every other dryer component operates off of 110 volts, the timer, motor, etc. Usually when a fuse blows or a circuit trips, it's because there's to much draw on the power line.
It is very possible for one part of your dryer to work fine, and yet another to have a problem, such as a short circuit. A short circuit may be caused by the heating element, internal wiring, or the main power cord.
To troubleshoot this problem, unplug the dryer and check to see if the circuit breaker or fuse remains on when the dryer is unplugged. If they stay on, it's more than likely the problem is somewhere in the dryer.
If your fuse blows, or the circuit breaker trips when the dryer is unplugged, it's likely the problem is with the circuit breaker, fuse box, or house wiring; contact a professional electrician.

OK I hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards Michael

Tumble dryer keeps tripping the mains

The twin breakers for the dryer circuit should be rated at 30 amps. Have the current draw checked on each wire leading from both breakers (with a clamp-on ammeter) while the dryer is operating. If the breakers trip just as soon as the dryer is started, there is very likely a short to ground/neutral within the dryer case (usually the heating element).

Our kenmore 697267 keeps tripping it's circuit every 5 minutes or so... what's the problem with it? Is it dangerous to just keep resetting it?

definatly a prob if tripping breaker every5 miin, resetting breaker is not good for either the breaker nor hte dryer, that would be hard to determine why without actually looking at though, i would probably calll someone to have a look at that one

Whirlpool electric dryer keeps tripping main circuit breaker

First off, be sure the pigtail is wired correctly to the back of the unit. Black and red to the outside terminals, white to the middle, green to the frame or cabinet (should be a green screw close-by). If that is ok, you probably have an issue with possibly a bad pigtail, bad outlet, wiring issue, or possibly a bad circuit breaker or breaker box. Probably going to be more of a electrical problem than a appliance problem. Good Luck!!!!
