Hello, the most likely cause is the pump. Whirlpools are direct drive machines which means they do not have a beltwasher is leaking, but I dont know why - 2.gif. The pump is hooked up directly to the motor. To confirm this is the pump tip the machine back so that you can access it underneath. Make sure you wedge something underneath so it does not fall on you. Next take a look where the pump joins onto the motor shaft, this is where you will find the leak. This pump is a sealed unit so you will have to replace the whole pump. You can do this by removing the inlet and outlet pipes. Next with a screwdriver release the 2 clips holding the pump and remove the pump.....reassemble with new pump in reverse order. Good Luck!! If you have any further question's please feel free to comment. Mike

Roper washer leaks when filling

It's in the drain hose somewhere, during the fill the water gets as deep in the drain hose as it does in the washer, during the wash the pump runs in reverse keeping the water level in the hose low, during the drain the hose is filled again.
Prop the washer up in front on a couple bricks or boards, start putting in water until it starts to leak and take a peak under the machine.

Washer is draining as it's filling -up. Checked all hose there on and no leaks coming from them. Could it be the plastic pump?

This could be a simple matter of drain hose placement. What it sounds like you are experiencing is known as "siphoning". The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r587481-prevent_washer_siphoning

Double check your drain hose placement and the size/height of the standpipe. If you don't have a sufficient air gap, your washer will begin to siphon water from the tub as it fills. The drain pump cannot cause this problem on the fill cycle as it is driven by the drive motor. The drive motor will not engage until the washer is filled and the wash cycle starts.

If you have questions, please let me know. I hope this is helpful.

While i'm washing water is getting on my floor, I don't know if it is when spinning or washing what could be the problem?

Help me help you...Dry the floor...Set the load size to small. Let it fill and start the wash cycle. Stop the unit. Look underneath it. Is there water on the floor? If so let me know. If not, start it up again and let it complete the wash cycle. As it begins to drain, look for water on the floor. Let me know.
I am trying to help you eliminate (or isolate) a bad tub seal, centrifigual force out, or a drain pump issue. When the water actually begins to leak is the key element we need to know in order to solve your problem. :) 2CR

Fixn my GE washer spin cycle

It sounds like it could be the lid switch, check to make sure the lid switch is clicking when you close the lid.
