No, more like loose or defective memory, or add-in cards. Take the machine down, remove the side cover, and make sure all the cards are pushed into the slots snugly, and make sure the ram chips are seated securely. Also, make certain that your vga monitor cable is secured into the port and not pulling out. (3 beeps usually means video fault).
