1. "wavy" may mean a signal problem inside the set--are you seeing colors out of position or skewed around letters etc?

2. Does it do it when a DVD is played? (this will rule out certain things).

How do we turn off the internal speakers to use a surround sound system on our Mitsubishi HDtv 55" 1080 SERIES TV?

IF it is a Mitsubishi WS-55613 rear projection set---

You with the Mitsubishi remote go into the customer menu and select Audio(it should be a separate item) and look for a setting for speakers--right cursor to it and up or down cursor to change it.

Some models may have this feature in the SETUP part of the menu.

Bule lines on hdtv

The WS-55613 is not a DLP television. If this is the correct model number then you need to replace IC8C01 and IC8C02 part# STK394-250. They are located on the main board (in the middle of the chassis) and are mounted on a large aluminum heat sink.
