Question about Gateway 310S (2900621) PC Desktop
My CRT monitor power LED displays green (on) when power is applied to PC (it should be amber) but during boot sequence, the monitor shuts down and displays amber (standby?) LED. The computer seems to be booting up bu the monitor powers down every time. I've tried unplugging and plugging everything back in. I also plugged the monitor into my laptop and it works, so it isn't the monitor itself. Any thoughts?
You need a new video card. it is powering down becuase it is not reciving any signal from you computer. if you are useing onboard video (vga) get a pci video card if you are useing a pci card try puting it in a dfrent slot.
