Same here, USB says error 12. It was working fine til I stop somewhere and when I started the car again it wouldn't play. I get no help from BOSS tech support. I just had the unit put in for $60 and the guy tells me to send it to them in California and they'll look at it. So it's gonna cost me $120 for a $90 radio. I tried to reset the radio by disconnecting the battery for 1/2 hour but it didn't work. I reformatted my 2.0 gig USB data traveler and nothing. Even an ipod with a usb didn't work. Piece of junk! Next I'm going to buy the ipod aux in cable for the ipod. Who knows what will happen? Anyone with a suggestion what to do?

I was playing some music from a kignston pendrive when the music stoped and appear a error 10! CD and USB stop working until unplug the battery.

This sounds like a corrupted file or bad device that caused a conflict. Try a different device, if the problem persist then you need to re-install the drivers for the usb and cd drive or at least update them.

I have a stanton-vestax cd-11 dual cd player, and was wondering how to get a cd to play on it. I put one in, turned the player on, pushed all the buttons and nothing happened. how does it work?

I have had one of these for many years: Switch it on, you must make sure the two transit screws at the back of each deck are fully unscrewed and loose, let the machine displays settle down, then insert a CD, then press the 'reset' button. There is a built-in delay of about 11 seconds before the deck begins to read. After this the machine should then display the first track number, and pressing the big red button will start play.

Pressing the 'reset' button again stops playback and the CD spins down, but if you leave the CD in there it will eventually re-index and cue up again. This feature is to enable fast, one-button CD changing and it works very well in practice, as the 11 second delay is enough time to take one CD out and get another in there before it tries to read it again.

To stop playback just press the 'reset' button (this is the most used button!) and take out the CD. After the delay, the machine will try to read a CD as normal, but display 'no CD' on the display. There is no stop button, as this unit was designed for continuous use in a club or disco.

Hope this helps. :)

Hooking up the WD Passport to a USB enabled CD/DVD player possible? may just be a capacity and interface issue, with the flash drive being more 'accessible' through the USB interface than the wd passport.

Big the WD on USB 2.0, and the CD/DVD on USB 1.0?

BIT RATE will cause this. 128kbps is good... 192kbps OK... 256 or anything else will cause a crash. Play ONLY 128k mp3's and you won't have this problem

Unable to download cd

you need to put the cd in and then you need to wait for some type of loading process and when its done loading you go to the start button on the main menu and then go to the box that says my computer and the picture or the name of the disk will be there and click on it then it will load then it will begin to play or do whatever it does
