I have a Necchi 4900 and the thread catches on the bobbin holder , moves the bobbin holder out of place , james , have taken it out cleaned everthing under the bobbin and takewn the underneath cover

try changing the needle to see if that helps
if it doesn't,, then I suggest that the sewing machine be checked
at a repair shop to see if the bobbin case needs to be replaced and
to see if the hook and the hook race need to be replaced

I have an omega 3730m sewing machine and i find that when i am sewing, the stitching underneath balls up nad is not tight. i tried to adjust the tension but nothing seems to work. any suggestions?

I find that re-threading both top and bottom threads fixes the problem. Sometimes the thread has not gone through the tension springs properly. try a new needle too.

I cleaned my machine and now the bottom thread making huge loops and it is jamming up. i have a necchi omega 6015

have you cleaned under the needle plate
change the needle
make sure the thread has not come off the thread take up lever
some thread & needle don't work togeather--try this
Cut 6-8 inch piece of thread of the spool you are going to use for your project
Take the needle you are going to use for the project
& insert the thread thru the eye of the needle
& lift one end of the thread to a 45 degree angle
& if the needle is the right size for the thread it will slide down the thread
But if the needle hangs on the thread you need one size larger needle for the thread

Machine feels like it is bound up neddle will not move

Normally this will be caused by lint/thread caught in the bobbin/hook area.Remove the bobbin case, push the two fingers (about 4 and 8 oclock positions) that hold the race cover on, and then remove the hook. If it will turn now then your good. Clean the area out, put a couple drops of oil on the hook and reassemble it.

The thread keeps breaking while I am sewing.

nake sure the machine is threaded proiperly with a good mercerised thread no thicker than a number 40, make sure the needle is in the correct way round, top tension about 4 or 5

Thread caught in hook race

There should be a small screw on the side of your bobbin case adjust it little by little until you get the correct tension.

Tread getting hung up in the shuttle

In most cases when thread is nesting, bunching, is a result of top threading. Be sure that you have the thread through the proper threading guides, most importantly, the "take-up lever" (that is the silver hook that moves up and doen in time with the needle). This should resolve the problem regardless of the machine.

Machine wont sew

You may need to get a scrap piece of material to lead off with or hold on to your thread and gently pull it to start your material.
