Computer says no pictures found when connected to the d70s. I've never had this issue before (3 years). The pictures are reflected on the camera.

Hi
Did you have any luck connecting to the PC?
Tried mine but couldn't connect through the USB [no phone found!]
Could've tried bluetooth but then again,it doesn't apply here.
Thought this device could never connect to a PC!
If you can connect, just open the folder with the pictures and drag them onto the desktop.

Good luck!

I have a D70 with 26,000 shutter releases. Just recently it stopped composing pictures. In other words, I can take a pic just fine, but the playback is black, it saves to the CF card, and if I look at on...

Remove the lens and fire off a few shots while looking inside. Check to see if the mirror flips up out of the way and that the shutter opens exposing the sensor.

I'm sorry for the difficulties you're experiencing as the i.LINK connection from the Camcorder is not recognized by two different Computers. Since the issue persists with two computers, it seems that the issue is with the Camcorder itself.

I suggest that you try resetting the Camcorder and check if that helps. To reset the Camcorder, please press the reset button behind the LCD screen using a sharp pointed object. Also make sure that the Camcorder is turned ON when pressing the reset button. You can locate the RESET button from the below picture.

If the issue persists after resetting, service may be required. However, please click hear to view the troubleshooting steps recommended by Sony. I have reviewed it and found that you have already performed all these steps. However, please check whether you missed something.

Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications.

When I connect the Coolpix S3000 to the computer to transfer pictures, it turns off and won't turn on

I've had some S3000's become gimmicy when connecting to a computer. The easiest way I've found to get photos off of the camera is to use a card reader connected to your computers USB.

I can't transfer pic from camera to PC, Z925

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Can't transfer pictures from camera to pc

francis5262, Have you first installed the Nikon software to your PC before connecting it?  You may be using Picture Project, after you install it, try shutting down the PC and restart it, if you installed it correctly and the projects folders you created are there now when you connect the camera should recognize the camera and ask if you want to download the images to the folder you selected.  One more thing check for updates for the software too. randy320sgi

Can't download to computer

You need to go to the tools menu and change USB fro PTP (Picture transfer protocol) to MASS STORAGE. PTP is only used if controlling camera from computer.
