Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My internal wireless does not work. Is there another way i can enable wireless? Ive heard about wireless network adapter cards but dont know much about them. please help :)

Other than repairing the internal wireless, obtaining a Wireless USB Adapter is one way to deal with this. (USB must be properly functioning on your notebook of course). These devices look very much like a USB memory stick.

Got a hp laptop with wireless on it the wireless has just stopet working i have to use a usb adapter so that i can go on the internet.can you tell me how to get my wirelss back.thank you.

does the non working wireless card still show up in the device manager?
if so does it show up as installed or with error?

if not is it enabled in the bios?

Also i have seen people accidently turn off the internal wireless card by pressing the little button on the laptop without realizing it or on some laptops the internal card can be turned on and off with function key combination..

On some models when you turn off the internal wireless card with the litttle switch the card will still show up in the device manager as installed and look ok but will not find any networks at all...
and right clicking on the icon and selecting enable radio does nothing untill you phisically turn it on with the little switch

there should be some sort of light or indicator somewhere on the laptop that lights up when the wireless is on..

what model HP laptop do you have?

Internal Wireless adapter failed

Your wireless zero configuration being manipulated by the add-on service of manufacturer software. first you can manually turn in the Wireless Zero Configuration by typing services.msc on run menu. After you run the services you will see Wireless Zero configuration please enable and start it with the given option.

Next you can open the Wireless Network Connection option, uncheck the add on protocols, such as AEGIS and WLAN protocol. after restart computer should work with wireless without problem.

Please post if you need further assistance.

Good Luck

I have a acer travelmate 3000 laptop and cant get my wireless to work, if i plug in a new wirless usb stick it works fine but i wont the internal wireless to work, does this mean my internal wireless card...

Odds are pretty good the wireless is not enabled.

If you look at page three item three of the manual, it shows the button/indicator on the front of the system to enable wireless.
