no does not list nor does it have milli volt generator
shows thermal couple as part of pilot assembly but I cannot find a place or I'm not seeing where it would go into thermostat control valve.
    Thanks for your inquiry.

Does it list a milli-volt generator? This would be used instead of a thermocouple.

Also to add to last answer if the thermocouple looks burnt out like a crack or just burnt off it needs replaceing at a guess about 100 bucks for part and should be the same for labour to repair as should take about an hour to change

The thermocoupleis about 3/16" in diameter and slides up through a hole right beside the pilot flame. Sometimes it doesn'tget pushed up far enough to come out the top into the flame. check the bottom of the pilot assemblynext to the silver pilot tubing, there the thermocouple is attached to a very small copper tube( 1/16") and this tube runs back to the gas valve. If it is there see if you can push iy up into the hole next to the silver tubing. unless the thermocouple can feel the flame the pilot will not stay lit, Hope this helps.

Keeps going out

If you just leave it on pilot and it stays lit....and then you turn the gas valve to on.... make sure you watch what happens, as if for some reason the flame doesn't stay on the thermocouple, could be angled wrong... it won't sense the flame and go out... it isn't the thermocouple, if the pilot stays lit when you let go of the button.

I cant get my HRC200 gas fireplace logs to light.

the pilot flame must heat a thermal couple that develops a small voltage to open the gas valve. make sure the pilot flame is in contact with the thermocouple and hold the pilot start gas button on for at least 1 min befor turning it to the run position

The pilot won't stay lit on gas hot water tank.

Make sure thermocouple tip is seated inside the burner flame.
Make sure thermocouple is not overtightened. Finger-tight + 1/4 turn.
If the pilot lights, then ECO energy cut off is not tripped, but gas control valve might be bad.
Check color of pilot flame: it should be strong and clear blue.
If pilot flame is weak, or color of flame is yellow-orange: Clean pilot orifice and burner and combustion parts on yearly basis.
Clean air intake screen if applicable.
Increase air supply to water heater. Open a window and see what happens.
Check for adequate draft going up chimney using match under vent hood to see if smoke drafts immediately upwards.
Bleed air out of gas line.
Check gas pressure.

Check the following: Pilot orifice or line partially clogged --- remove and clean.
use a fine wire or drill bit to do this.
Gas control valve going bad --- replace gas valve. Gas valves cannot be repaired.

Pilot light will not stay lit.

More than likely the thermal couple is defective. The thermal couple is a safety device that shuts the gas off if the pilot goes out. If it is defective the pilot light will not stay lit. The thermal couple is the device that the small copper line goes to. It is mounted beside the pilot flame and the flame much touch the TC for it to work. If the flame is not touching the TC bend it until it is in the flame. If it is touching the TC then replace it.

check and or replace the thermal coupling. the coupling goes into the main gas control, if the coupling is bad it will shut off gas supply. as a safety measure.

Gas log will not stay lit for more than 5 minutes

Sounds like the gas regulator has failed.

There will be sufficient gas flow to light the pilot and get a flame prove, then the main burner lights, you will probably see the pilot flame reduce somewhat, and no longer fully surround the flame prove sensor.

When the unit is relighted, the complete sequence starts all over again.

Have the gas regulator checked and adjusted (if adjustable) or replaced by a qualified technician.
