Question about GE DBSR453EBWW Electric Dryer
Unplug dryer. Open top by either removing screws at top of front panel, or if none on your model, pushing in on clips at the seem to release top at front, allowing it to swing back. (still attached at back) Now, remove two screws (one on each side) near the top, holding the front panel onto the side panels. Unhook the wires from the door switch and lift the front panel forward and outward to take it off. You do not have to remove the belt. Just pull the drum forward a bit to get the shaft at the back of the drum out of the sleave (it is a tight squeeze at the front of the side panels). Replace the sleave. Check the drum slides on the back side of the front panel too. Reassemble.
